James Burgess
James originated the 7 Words System in 2000 and has been the constant centre of its activities since the beginning, becoming the first guide and training the first group of students in 2006.
More
His background includes both worldly and spiritual activities. As an accountant and management consultant he has set up and overseen many successful projects in diverse industries such as small appliance safety testing and trading in gold and silver; as a disciple of Sufism he has led retreats and formed the Khanqah Salaam meditation centre serving the Sufi Order International as its Baltic Representative.
He is a teacher and writer – having published two works and a series of articles on the 7 Words and a range of esoteric subjects including astrology, philosophy and Dances of Universal Peace – for which he has gained a worldwide reputation as a dance leader and prolific composer.
Perhaps in The UK he is best known as the founder of the exceptionally popular Unicorn Camps in 1987, which is an experiential teaching medium for families who enjoy community life. In his new home in Vilnius, his Lithuanian students participate in his Personal Development Group which features his own blend of teachings based on the 7 Words and Sufism.
Richard Grey
Richard's background is business management, having been a company director in a leading transport safety organization, and more recently taken a central role in an innovative project whose purpose is to find answers to issues that arise from Climate Change.
More
He is one of the leading lights of the 7 Words initiative, currently travelling abroad to pass on his experience, having led seminars, composed teaching texts, and jointly with the founder presented trainings in UK and Europe. Richard's approach to the work is both light-hearted and profoundly visionary, seeing humour and spirituality as mutually inclusive studies!
Dominique Sakoilsky
For the past 20 years I have worked in the arena of Birth, with women, men, babies and families. This started—and continues—as a yoga teacher and Active Birth teacher, and since 2001 I have practiced as a Cranio-Sacral Therapist and work with a team at the Bristol Centre for Craniosacral Therapy.
More
I also work as a Couple Counsellor, and underwent postgraduate training in Systemic Theory and Practice, working as a Family Counsellor in private practice, at ‘Relate’ and at a primary health care trust. I am married, and a mother of 3, which has taught me generously around birth and parenting and relationship! I love to practice yoga, camp, be out doors, and ride horses.
In 2008, jointly with my long term friend and colleague 7 Words Practitioner Louise Bennett, I set up Relaxed Birth and Parenting to train women in a new and progressive way to work as Birth educators and Doulas. We use the 7 Words system as our backbone and teach it as part of the training, because we find that it offers a profound and thorough understanding of Birth. Already 9 new teachers are setting up practice in Bristol, UK, and we have started the second training with 5 women included who are sponsored to work in National Health Service Children’s Centres. We are writing a book The 7 Secrets of Joyful Birth, again using the 7Word system.
The Relaxed Birth and Parenting Training is based on the 7 Words system. It is used in such a way to highlight and explore attitudes and patterns we bring to our birthing, bringing curiosity, ‘point of exploration’ and a whole and extensive approach to Birth.
In NO we get to check our ability to be solid in ourselves and our truth—what we need to say NO to in order to get clear around that; in HELLO we communicate with others, including Baby, and notice where our attention is drawn; in THANK YOU we get to the heart of Birthing, with an appreciation of what surrounds us; in GOODBYE we “get real” about our pregnant state of being; in PLEASE we explore our vision of birth and how to move towards that; then comes SORRY highlighting the need for forgiveness and getting us ready to flow into the complete and healthy surrender of YES!
Louise Bennett

Louise has the sense of Earth Mother about her, and indeed, teaming up with Dom, is co-founder of the Relaxed Birth and Parenting course.
More
There's a book coming out soon for anyone who wants to learn about how to give birth using the deeper awareness created by applying the 7 Words methods. Co-written by Louise with Dominique Sakoilsky, it promises to revolutionize conscious birthing awareness.
Nesta Burgess
Nesta is the originator of the Associates activities in the area of Tea Ceremony. Trained to advanced levels in yoga, her background includes Ayangara and Ashtanga, yet mainly her experience is within the Shivananda tradition.
